Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, results-driven
IT Recruiter
with 2-4 years of dedicated experience in technical talent acquisition. You won't just be matching keywords; you will act as a strategic partner to our engineering managers, helping us build high-performing software teams.
We are looking for someone who "speaks the language" of developers--you should know your Java from your JavaScript and understand the nuances of the modern tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Technical Recruitment
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles (e.g., Full Stack Developers, DevOps Engineers, QA, Data Scientists, Product Managers).
Source candidates effectively using
LinkedIn Recruiter
, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other niche tech communities.
Write compelling, technical job descriptions that attract top-tier engineering talent.
2. Screening & Assessment
Conduct rigorous initial screening calls to assess technical fit, communication skills, and culture alignment.
Administer and review preliminary technical assessments (HackerRank, LeetCode, or internal coding challenges) before passing candidates to technical leads.
Filter candidates based on specific tech stacks (e.g., MERN, Python/Django, AWS, Kubernetes).
3. Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with the CTO, Engineering Managers, and Team Leads to understand hiring needs and technical requirements.
Provide data-driven updates on the hiring pipeline, time-to-fill, and market trends.
4. Offer Management & Onboarding
Lead salary negotiations, understanding the current market rates for IT professionals to ensure competitive yet sustainable offers.
Ensure a smooth pre-boarding process to minimize offer dropouts.
Qualifications & Skills
Candidate Requirements
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of proven experience in
IT/Technical recruitment
(Agency or Corporate). Generalist HR experience without a tech focus will not be considered.*
Technical Acumen:
a solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern technologies. You must understand the differences between Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, DevOps, and QA.
Sourcing Skills:
Expertise in Boolean search strings, X-Ray search, and hunting passive candidates.
High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
