Job Description

An HR intern assists the HR department with administrative tasks, recruitment, employee onboarding, and general HR support. They may update employee records, screen resumes, schedule interviews, assist with payroll, and help implement HR policies, according to Workable. Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Maintain employee databases, update records, file documents, and manage HR-related data entry.

Recruitment:

Screen resumes, assist with job postings, schedule interviews, and support the hiring process.

Onboarding:

Assist with coordinating new employee orientation and integration into the company.

Employee Relations:

Provide support to employees with HR-related inquiries, manage employee benefits, and assist with employee training programs.

Policy Implementation:

Help implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.

Project Support:

Assist with various HR projects, including preparing presentations and reports, says Workable.
Required Skills:

Organizational Skills:

Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.

Communication Skills:

Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, HR staff, and external vendors.

Problem-solving Skills:

Address HR-related inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
