We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. Responsibilities
Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Support employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Participate in employee evaluation processes and assist with performance management initiatives.
Help maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data entry.
Contribute to projects related to talent management, succession planning, and change management.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries regarding benefits.
Support workforce management efforts by collecting and analyzing HR data for reporting purposes.
Engage in social media management to promote company culture and job openings.
Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Skills
Knowledge of human capital management principles and practices.
Familiarity with employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
Understanding of talent acquisition strategies, including recruiting and interviewing techniques.
Proficiency in project management skills to assist with HR initiatives effectively.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
Experience with HR software systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or similar platforms is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in data collection and analysis for workforce management reporting.
Administrative experience that includes familiarity with payroll systems like Kronos or UltiPro is advantageous.
