. The role requires a strong focus on recruitment, workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and HR strategy aligned with the needs of a modern manufacturing setup. The HR Manager will play a key role in building a skilled workforce, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute recruitment strategies for technical, engineering, production, and support staff.
Collaborate with plant heads and department managers to forecast manpower needs.
Drive campus hiring and apprenticeship programs.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Build positive relations between management and employees.
Implement employee engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.
Address grievances and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
Training & Development
Identify skill gaps in EV manufacturing technologies and arrange relevant training.
Implement continuous learning programs for upskilling and reskilling employees.
Collaborate with technical institutes for specialized EV training modules.
Performance Management
Drive appraisal processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Develop KPI-driven performance monitoring systems.
Compliance & HR Operations
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Manage payroll, attendance, and HRMS systems.
Oversee health & safety policies in collaboration with EHS teams.
Strategic HR Initiatives
Support organizational restructuring, culture-building, and leadership development.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workforce.
Contribute to sustainability and green workforce practices aligned with EV industry goals.
Qualifications & Skills
MBA/PGDM in
Human Resource Management
or related field.
10-12 years of HR experience (preferably in
automotive/EV/manufacturing industry
).
Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliances, and HR best practices.
Experience in
plant HR management
is a must.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle fast-paced, technology-driven, and dynamic work environments.
