- Head of Human Resources (HR Head)

Role Overview



The HR Head is responsible for leading the overall human resources strategy, policies, and operations of the organization. This role focuses on aligning people strategies with business objectives, building a strong organizational culture, driving talent development, and ensuring compliance. As a senior leader, the HR Head plays a key role in shaping workforce planning, organizational development, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities



1. Strategic HR Leadership



Define and execute the HR strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and goals. Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning. Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning



Oversee talent acquisition strategies to ensure timely hiring of top talent. Forecast workforce needs and design manpower plans for business expansion. Strengthen employer branding to attract and retain high-caliber professionals.

3. Organizational Development & Culture



Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive, and employee-centric workplace culture. Drive initiatives for employee engagement, recognition, and retention. Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

4. Performance Management & Talent Development



Design performance management systems based on KRA/KPI frameworks. Implement leadership development, succession planning, and career progression frameworks. Promote continuous learning and upskilling programs for employees.

5. HR Operations & Compliance



Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, attendance, and employee records. Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and corporate governance. Implement HR technology and systems (HRIS) to drive efficiency.

6. Policy & Governance



Formulate and update HR policies, compensation structures, and benefits programs. Ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency in HR practices. Monitor market trends and benchmark HR practices against industry standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred). 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and strategic HR management. Proven ability to partner with business leaders and manage large teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organizational growth.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
