HR Generalist

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, non-teaching, and support staff, ensuring quality hires as per school requirements. Handle payroll, attendance, leave records, and statutory compliance specific to school staff. Support staff induction, orientation, and smooth onboarding of teachers and academic coordinators. Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation as per school norms. Act as the first point of contact for staff grievances and maintain healthy employee relations. Coordinate teacher appraisals, performance reviews, and probation evaluations. Ensure compliance with CBSE/IB/School Board guidelines in HR processes where applicable. Facilitate staff training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions. Support school events, parent orientations, and staff deployment during academic and extracurricular activities. Collaborate with Principal, Academic Heads, and Administrative teams for workforce planning and HR initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 4-5 years of proven experience in HR, preferably in the education/school sector. Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and school HR compliance. Proficiency in HRMS/payroll software and MS Office tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality.

Note:

Transportation will not be provided by the school; candidates must arrange their own commute.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
