Job Description

The responsibility of the HR Generalist would include, but are not limited to -

Administrative Responsibilities:



1. Recruitment Support:



Source candidates through job portals, internal databases, and referrals. Screen profiles and share shortlisted CVs with hiring managers. Coordinate interview scheduling, follow-ups, and candidate communication. Conduct psychometric tests for all shortlisted candidates.

2. Onboarding & Induction:



Complete onboarding procedure on PS and manage joining documentation. Conduct HR orientation and ensure smooth induction for new hires. Ensure compliance with the Buddy/Shadow process. Manage confirmation documentation and evaluations.

3. Performance Management Support:



Coordinate and support the annual/bi-annual appraisal cycles. Assist in managing the increment cycle and related documentation.

4. HRMS Accuracy & Data Governance:



Ensure accurate and timely data entry for joiners, exits, transfers, and lifecycle
updates.

Conduct periodic data audits and quality checks to maintain data integrity. Ensure effective usage and compliance across all HRMS modules (Leave, Attendance, Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, BRE, PMS, etc.).

5. Attendance & Leave Management:



Monitor daily attendance and leave applications. Coordinate with employees to resolve attendance discrepancies.

6. Payroll Input Support:



Share verified attendance and employee changes with the payroll team. Follow timelines to ensure payroll accuracy.

7. Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives:



Assist in planning engagement activities, celebrations, and internal events. Collect feedback and maintain participation records.

8. Reporting & Documentation:



Prepare monthly trackers, MIS reports, and maintain personal files. Create monthly MIS trackers for Recruitment, Attrition, Insurance, PD Tracker, Staff
qualification & experience tracker, Employee Master Sheet updates, Headcount
reports (for Schools), Joining & Exit (for Sohna), Unit HR Tracker, training tracker and any other tracker which is shared by central team.

Prepare and issue HR letters (appointment, confirmation, increment, experience,
superannuation, contract renewals, etc.).Support audits by providing required HR records.

9. Policy & Grievance Support:



Assist in communicating HR policies and guidelines. Provide first-level support for basic employee queries and grievances.

Community Engagement Responsibilities :



Foster open communication between staff, leadership, and
administration.

Support community outreach and CSR initiatives led by the school/organization
or the central HR team.

Promote employee well-being and a culture of inclusion within the
school/organisation community.

Uphold Goenkan values of professionalism, empathy, and collaboration in all
stakeholder interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS



Graduate/Postgraduate in HR Management, Psychology, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred). 4-8 years of experience in HR (experience in the education sector desirable). Knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems (ERP/HRIS).

COMPETENCIES / SKILLS



Strong communication and coordination skills. Basic HRMS/HRIS knowledge. Proficient in Excel and MS Office. Detail-oriented and data-driven.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
