What You Will Own (Not Just "Do")
1. Recruitment & Appointments
Own the
end-to-end hiring
: JD writing, posting, screening, interviews, offers, joining.
Build a
strong talent pipeline
instead of hiring in panic mode.
Make every candidate feel respected - even the ones we don't select.
Understand not just skills, but
attitude, values, and culture fit
.
2. People & Team Management
Be the
go-to person
for the team - someone people can talk to without fear.
Help the founders and seniors manage workloads, conflicts, and expectations.
Encourage team members to
take ownership
instead of waiting for instructions.
3. HR Operations & Systems
Sometimes you will
create the system
(policies, SOPs, trackers).
Sometimes you will
follow the system
and ensure others do too.
Keep HR data, files, attendance, leaves, and documents organised and updated.
Coordinate offers, appointment letters, confirmations, appraisals, and exits.
4. Culture, Learning & Growth
Help us build an office that feels like a
family with clarity, not chaos
.
Plan small but powerful initiatives: feedback circles, check-ins, celebrations, birthdays, recognition.
Arrange
trainings for juniors
and also learning sessions from seniors / mentors.
Create an environment where it's okay to say
"I don't know, but I want to learn."
5. Multi-tasking & Startup Energy
No "this is not my job" attitude.
Support founders in small but crucial tasks - from coordination to follow-ups.
Be okay with wearing multiple hats: HR, a bit of admin, a bit of operations, a bit of therapist

3-7 years in HR (recruitment + generalist role preferred).
Experience in
