About the Role:
As an HR Generalist at Datastraw, you'll take ownership of core people operations, end-to-end hiring, payroll and compliance, employee engagement, and HR documentation. You'll work closely with both remote and onsite teams, ensuring smooth processes, accuracy, and a positive employee experience in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end hiring, from sourcing talent to onboarding new joiners.
Oversee payroll, attendance, PF/ESI, insurance, and ensure statutory compliance.
Ensure HR records, documentation, and policies are accurate and up to date.
Lead ESOP administration, Rewards & Recognition, and engagement programs.
Act as a trusted point of contact for employee queries and grievances, ensuring confidentiality.
Work closely with leadership to improve HR processes, culture, and performance practices.
Requirements:
1-2 years of hands-on experience
in HR and recruitment.
Proven experience working with
remote teams
, preferably in BPO, startup, or D2C settings.
Proficient in HRMS tools such as
Keka
; familiarity with
Slack
is an advantage.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Excel/Sheets.
Must be willing to work in a
hybrid model based in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai
, with four days in office and two days working remotely.
