Job Title: Human Resources Specialist Department: Human Resources Reports To: Partner in CA Firm Job Summary: The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for performing various HR functions to support the organization\'s workforce, preparing HR policies and maintain compliance with HR policies and regulations. This role involves recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews. Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process. Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries. Address employee concerns and grievances, escalating issues when necessary. Promote a positive work environment and assist in resolving conflicts. HR Recordkeeping: Maintain employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR databases. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. Prepare reports related to HR metrics and trends. Policy and Procedure Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements. Training and Development: Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees. Identify training needs and collaborate with management to address skill gaps. Performance Management: Assist in the performance appraisal process. Maintain performance evaluation records and provide guidance to employees and managers. Experience in HR roles or related positions. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with HR software and tools (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, payroll software). Familiarity with recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques. Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles. Conflict resolution and mediation skills. Knowledge of labor negotiations (if applicable).
