Job Purpose: The HR Generalist is responsible delivering a robust and proactive HR service which is aligned to the objectives of the group they support. The HR Generalist will also support global HR projects and activities and drive local implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.

  • Ensure that all organisational changes are documented, and that correspondence and material is professional, accurate and complies with local legal obligations.
  • Partner with COE teams to execute, implement the policies and program.
  • Partner with Operations Team to build a high performance, people-focused culture that drives business results.
  • Support the development and delivery of training initiatives, in conjunction with the Learning & Development Partner.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth and seamless recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Plan and host employee celebration events. Coordinate recognition gifts for employee life events and the Service Award Programs.
  • Maintain all data accurately on the HRIS to support the Finance team in preparing payroll and forecasts, and the HR team for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Be the primary contact for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
Qualifications
  • HR Generalist, giving advice and guidance to managers in a fast-moving environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrating broad range of HR Generalist experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of Payroll system and Time & Attendance system.
  • Good understanding of data analysis with the ability to summarize descriptive statistics.
  • Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of employees through excellent listening and communication skills that engender trust and support.
  • Proven track record in successful onboarding activities as well as steering and implementing sustainable HR projects.
  • Ability to identify and liaise with third party vendors for various initiatives.
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools
  • Applying globally consistent approaches in pragmatic way.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Natural interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
  • SHRM-CP Certification or similar certifications
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations.
