Support full-cycle recruitment, including posting job ads, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring processes.
Prepare offer letters and manage pre-employment background checks.
Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure smooth onboarding.
2. Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
Assist in resolving workplace issues by gathering information, providing guidance, and escalating as needed.
Support performance management processes, including coaching managers on documentation and policy adherence.
3. HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (HRIS and personnel files).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Help prepare reports such as headcount, turnover, and HR metrics.
4. Benefits & Compensation Support
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general questions.
Support annual open enrollment and help communicate benefit programs.
Coordinate leave of absence administration in compliance with FMLA and other regulations.
5. Training & Development
Help coordinate learning sessions, compliance trainings, and employee development initiatives.
Track training completions and maintain records.
6. HR Projects & Culture Initiatives
Support HR programs such as employee engagement, performance reviews, and recognition initiatives.
Participate in process improvements and other special projects as assigned.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of HR experience; HR generalist or coordinator background is a plus.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
