Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Compliance:
Manage end-to-end
payroll processing
for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
Ensure
statutory compliance
with all applicable labor laws including
PF, ESI, TDS
, and other deductions.
Coordinate with finance and external payroll vendors/auditors as needed.
Handle
grievances and queries
related to payroll, taxation, and compliance.
Statutory Benefits Management:
Maintain accurate records for
Provident Fund (PF)
and
Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
.
Manage employee onboarding/offboarding activities related to PF & ESI.
Liaise with statutory bodies and ensure timely submission of returns and documentation.
HR Operations & Software Management:
Manage and maintain employee data in
HRMS/HRIS
systems.
Automate HR processes through HR software platforms (attendance, leave, performance tracking).
Support HR reporting and analytics using HR software.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Handle onboarding, induction, and documentation for new hires.
Support performance management and appraisal processes.
Assist in employee engagement, grievance handling, and exit formalities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in HR is a plus.
3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
, preferably in an
IT/NON IT company
.
Hands-on experience with
payroll processing and statutory compliance
(PF, ESI, TDS).
Familiarity with
HRMS/HRIS software
(e.g., GreytHR, Zoho People, Keka, SAP SuccessFactors).
Good understanding of labor laws and HR policies.
Proficiency in MS Excel and report generation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a
mid-sized IT firm
or startup.
Knowledge of labor compliance portals (EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha).
Exposure to audit preparation and documentation.
