to manage end-to-end HR operations at our manufacturing facility. The role involves handling manpower planning, statutory compliance, employee relations, payroll coordination, and shop-floor HR activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in factory HR operations and strong knowledge of labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Management
Handle blue-collar and staff hiring (operators, technicians, supervisors)
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
Manage contractor labor and vendor coordination
Conduct joining formalities and induction programs
2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Shops & Establishment Act
Manage PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements
Handle inspections from labor authorities
Maintain statutory registers and records
3. Payroll & Attendance
Manage attendance, shift rosters, overtime, and leave records
Coordinate monthly payroll processing
Handle wage calculations for contract and permanent employees
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Maintain healthy employee relations on the shop floor
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters
Support performance management and appraisal process
Organize employee engagement and welfare activities
5. HR Operations & Documentation
Maintain employee records, HR MIS, and reports
Handle confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits
Manage HR policies and procedures implementation
6. Training & Development
Coordinate skill development and safety training
Support compliance training (POSH, safety, factory induction)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate / Post Graduate in HR, IR, or related field
2-5 years of experience as HR Generalist in a factory or manufacturing setup
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances
Experience handling blue-collar workforce
Good communication and conflict-handling skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS
Preferred Candidate Profile
Prior experience in manufacturing / plant HR
Ability to work on shop floor and in shifts if required
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
