Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles, including engineers, supervisors, and site laborers.
Coordinate job postings, interviews, reference checks, and offer roll-outs.
Conduct employee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for site-level HR issues and grievances.
Support resolution of employee concerns and ensure compliance with company policies.
Promote a positive and safe work environment.
HR Administration
Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave data.
Manage HRMS or other systems for daily administrative tasks.
Prepare HR-related reports for internal and external audits.
Compliance & Legal
Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, Building & Other Construction Workers Act, etc.).
Coordinate with labor officers and other government departments as required.
Handle contractor labor documentation and ensure wage compliance.
Training & Development
Identify training needs in collaboration with project managers.
Coordinate training programs for both technical skills and soft skills.
Performance Management
Assist in the appraisal process and KPI setting for staff.
Maintain performance records and support HR Manager in performance review cycles.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field (MBA preferred).
2-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance specific to the construction industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
Desirable Skills:
Experience working with large-scale labor forces.
Multilingual abilities (regional languages).
Basic knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
