Job Summary
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, supporting the implementation of HR systems, and maintaining strong internal communication with team members and survivors. This role requires an empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can balance administrative responsibilities with effective people management.
Core Responsibilities HR Operations & Systems
Support and carry out activities related to the ongoing implementation of new HR systems and digital tools.
Manage and update employee records, attendance, contracts, and HR documentation.
Prepare and coordinate documentation and processes related to all types of leave.
Monitor the leave status of associates, track compensation during leaves of absence, and facilitate smooth return-to-work transitions.
Employee Relations & Survivor Support
Serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related matters and provide guidance to employees.
Co-manage and serve as the main point of contact for all communication activities involving survivors.
Maintain strong internal relationships with survivors and assist them with challenges, inquiries, and benefits as per organizational policies.
Facilitate grievance redressal by listening to concerns and escalating matters appropriately.
Ensure a trauma-informed, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
Policy, Compliance & Coordination
Work closely with senior management to create, review, and revise HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational HR policies and applicable statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, and labor laws.
Coordinate with the accounts team for timely payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, and deductions.
Draft HR letters, memos, notices, and internal communication as required.
Recruitment, Onboarding & Training
Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviews, and documentation.
Facilitate onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new employees and interns.
Support training and development initiatives, including workshops and skill-building programs for associates and survivors.
Reporting & Communication
Produce reports, graphs, charts, and required documents for the HR department.
Prepare and compile data for monthly departmental reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior leadership to ensure alignment on HR objectives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, events, and welfare programs.
Help build a positive, respectful, and growth-oriented work culture aligned with the mission of survivor empowerment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
1-3 years of HR experience (NGO experience preferred).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a trauma-informed environment.
Remuneration
Salary range:
?25,000 - ?35,000 per month
, based on experience.
