Coordinate interviews, background checks, offer letters, and appointment orders.

Onboarding & Induction
Complete joining formalities, maintain personnel files, and conduct brand orientation.
Issue employment contracts as per Shops & Establishments Act
3.
Payroll & Statutory Labour Compliance Tasks:
PF & ESI registration, monthly challans, and returns.
Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, and Gratuity calculations.
Maintain registers and records under the
Shops & Establishments Act

Payment of Wages Act
,
Minimum Wages Act
,
Payment of Bonus Act
,
Payment of Gratuity Act
, and
Maternity Benefit Act
.
Handle labour license renewals under the
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
, if contractors are engaged.
Ensure timely filing of returns with EPFO/ESIC and local labour departments.
Coordinate audits and inspections by labour authorities.
4.
Health, Safety & POSH
Implement workplace safety norms under the
Factories Act
/State rules (where applicable).
Act as coordinator for the
Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee
and employee grievance mechanisms.
5.
Performance & Engagement
Support appraisal cycles, training plans, and retention strategies.
Conduct staff welfare programs, recognition events, and grievance redressal.
6.
Exit & Final Settlement
Manage resignation, exit interviews, clearance, and F&F settlements ensuring all statutory dues are paid.
