Key ResponsibilitiesA. Labour Welfare & Employee Well-Being
Monitor and ensure availability of adequate welfare facilities (canteen, drinking water, restrooms, first-aid, PPE, etc.).
Conduct regular site/plant rounds to check hygiene, safety, and welfare conditions.
Address labour grievances and ensure timely resolution.
Organise welfare programs such as health camps, awareness programs, safety training, cultural events, etc.
Ensure induction and orientation for new labour workers.
Attendance & Workforce Management
Monitor daily attendance and headcount of workers.
Verify manpower deployment as per requirement of departments.
Coordinate with contractors for labour supply and ensure proper documentation (ID proof, medical fitness, etc.).
Health, Safety & Environment Support
Ensure workers use PPE and follow safety rules.
Coordinate with safety department for toolbox talks and training sessions.
Report unsafe practices or conditions and support corrective actions.
