The HR Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and HR policy implementation. The role ensures a positive work culture and compliance with labor laws while supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing
Plan and execute manpower requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads for hiring needs.
Employee Onboarding & Engagement
Ensure smooth joining formalities and induction programs.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and motivation programs.
Payroll & Attendance
Coordinate monthly payroll processing with accounts team.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and shift schedules.
Resolve salary, attendance, and leave-related queries.
Performance Management
Implement and monitor appraisal and performance review systems.
Support managers in goal setting and performance evaluations.
Identify training and development needs.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
Manage PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other statutory registrations.
Handle audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
Employee Relations & Discipline
Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
Maintain discipline and enforce company policies.
Handle exit formalities, resignations, and final settlements.
HR Policies & Administration
Develop, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs.
Ensure company policies are communicated and followed.
Maintain HR MIS and reports for management review.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of labor laws, PF & ESIC
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership and conflict-resolution abilities
Time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
3-6 years of experience in HR operations or HR generalist role
Experience in handling multi-location workforce preferred
