The HR Executive will oversee end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing unit, including recruitment, onboarding, statutory compliance, payroll, attendance management, employee engagement, and coordination with plant-level teams. The role ensures smooth workforce management and supports the organization in maintaining compliance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment: shortlisting, interviews, coordination with HODs.
Hiring of workers, staff, and technical positions as per manpower planning.
Conduct induction, joining formalities, documentation & file creation.
Coordinate with contractors for manpower supply and compliance.
2. Attendance, Payroll & Time Office
Oversee biometric attendance, shift rosters, overtime records, and leave management.
Prepare monthly attendance MIS and provide data to payroll team.
Handle shift changes, late coming, absenteeism reporting.
Verify OT calculations as per Factories Act or company policy.
3. Statutory Compliance (Manufacturing Specific)
Manage PF, ESIC, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages & other statutory compliances.
Maintain statutory registers: Form A, B, C; Muster Roll; Leave Register; Wage Register.
Coordinate with compliance consultants/auditors during inspections.
Ensure contractor compliance: challans, wage sheets, ESIC/PF records.
4. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Handle confirmation, appraisal process, promotion & transfer letters.
Manage employee grievances and support disciplinary processes.
Maintain employee records, personal files & HRMS data.
Draft HR letters like offer, appointment, warning, suspension, reliving etc.
5. Training & Development
Coordinate skill training, safety training & monthly induction programs.
Maintain training MIS, evaluation forms & effectiveness tracking.
Support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, TPM.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Organize engagement activities, welfare programs & festival events.
Address worker welfare needs: canteen, PPE, uniform distribution.
Ensure POSH policy compliance and ICC coordination.
7. HR MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly HR reports:
Headcount
Attrition & new joiners
Attendance & OT summary
Compliance reports
Present HR metrics to management.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of labour laws & statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Factory Act).
Good communication & coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and documentation.
Ability to handle shop-floor workers and supervisory teams.
Problem-solving and employee-handling ability.
