An HR Executive is responsible for managing various human resources functions, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting both management and employees in matters related to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. They act as a bridge between employees and management to maintain a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Prepare job descriptions and post job openings on portals or social media.
Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and schedule interviews with department heads.
Coordinate the onboarding process, including documentation, induction programs, and orientation of new hires.
Maintain a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
2. Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Maintain good employee relations by organizing engagement activities and resolving conflicts.
Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
3. Payroll & Benefits Administration
Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, and deductions.
Manage employee benefits, insurance, and leave records.
Ensure timely submission of statutory compliances like PF, ESI, and professional tax.
4. Performance & Training
Support performance appraisal processes and track employee performance metrics.
Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.
Maintain records of employee development and training programs.
5. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain HR records, employee files, and databases.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Prepare reports and HR metrics for management review.
6. Administrative Support
Assist in drafting HR policies, employment contracts, and HR communications.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, events, and company initiatives.
Support management in strategic HR initiatives, such as workforce planning and retention strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of labor laws, payroll management, and HR software.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
