HR Executive - Payroll
Job Summary:
The Payroll Executive - HR is an individual contributor role responsible for managing payroll operations and ensuring statutory compliance. This position requires high accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless payroll processing and employee support.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate with the Payroll Processing team to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll.
Maintain and update employee records for payroll processing, including:New joiner data
Termination details
Promotions and salary revisions
Compensation changes
Attendance and overtime reports
Referral bonus reports
Other payroll-related data
Oversee statutory compliance filings and ensure timely payments (PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, LWF, Gratuity, etc.).
Handle employee queries related to payroll and statutory compliance.
Manage PF requests approval and exit date updates in the portal.
Collaborate with Chartered Accountants, Finance, and Audit teams for payroll validation and compliance checks.
All activities must be performed in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.
Minimum Requirements:Education: Any Graduate (Commerce or HR specialization preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of payroll calculations, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel (large data handling, reporting, dashboards).
Experience with HRMS & Payroll software; exposure to Workday HRIS preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Technical Proficiency:Postgraduate degree in HR or Finance.
Certification in payroll management or labor law compliance.
Experience in a healthcare RCM or BPO environment.
Familiarity with automation tools for payroll and compliance reporting.
