Job Description

The HR Executive (Recruitment) is responsible for end-to-end recruitment for cinema theatre and hospitality operations. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and on boarding front line and managerial staff while ensuring timely manpower availability, compliance with labour laws, and alignment with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment & Staffing



Handle end-to-end recruitment for cinema theatre and hospitality roles such as: Box Office Executives, Floor Staff, Ushers Food & Beverage Staff Technicians, Housekeeping Duty Managers, Supervisors Coordinate manpower planning with Operations and Theatre Managers. Source candidates through job portals, walk-in interviews, referrals, vendors, and local hiring drives. Conduct initial screening, telephonic interviews, and shortlist candidates. Schedule interviews and coordinate with department heads. Maintain recruitment trackers and MIS reports.

On boarding & Documentation



Manage joining formalities, offer letters, and appointment letters. Ensure completion of employee documentation (KYC, background verification, contracts). Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new joiners. Update employee records in HRMS or manual registers.

Vendor & Walk-in Management



Coordinate with manpower agencies and recruitment consultants. Organize and manage walk-in interviews and mass hiring drives for theatres. Ensure timely closure of urgent and bulk hiring requirements.

Compliance & HR Support



Ensure recruitment practices comply with labour laws and company policies. Support HR operations such as attendance, employee engagement, and exit formalities when required. Maintain confidentiality of employee and recruitment data.

Employer Branding



Promote company image during recruitment interactions. Maintain positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Required Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of hospitality and cinema theatre staffing requirements. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage bulk and fast-paced hiring. Knowledge of labour laws and statutory requirements (basic level). Proficiency in MS Office and job portals. High coordination and multitasking ability.

Qualification



Graduate / MBA in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Experience



1-4 years

of recruitment experience. Prior experience in

cinema theatre, hospitality, retail, or service industry

preferred. Experience in

bulk hiring and front line recruitment

is an advantage.

Work Conditions



Willingness to work on weekends or during peak hiring periods. On-site coordination with cinema theatres and hospitality locations. Ability to handle high-volume recruitment under tight timelines.
