As an HR Executive you will be a key part of the human?resources team, responsible for maintaining HR documentation, ensuring legal and statutory compliance, and driving employee engagement initiatives. You will help ensure our HR operations are efficient, compliant and foster a positive work culture.
You will be responsible for the following:
1. Documentation & HR Records
Maintain and update personnel files, employment contracts, onboarding/off-boarding checklists, and other HR documentation.
Ensure timely preparation and issuance of appointment letters, increments/promotions letters, relieving letters, etc.
Archive and manage records in compliance with the company's policy and legal requirements.
Assist with monthly/quarterly HR reports (such as headcount, attrition, joiners/leavers).
Help streamline HR processes and documentation workflows.
2. Legal Compliance & Statutory Requirements
Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations (such as EPF, ESI, gratuity, labour contract act etc. as relevant to India) and internal policies.
Assist with preparation of documentation and submissions to regulatory bodies/local authorities as required.
Stay up?to?date with changes in HR labour legislation and advise relevant stakeholders.
Work with external legal/consulting advisors where required for audits, inspections, or compliance reviews.
Support internal policy creation/review to ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
Organise and coordinate employee engagement programmes - e.g., workshops, team building, recognition events, wellness initiatives.
Support onboarding & induction to ensure new hires have a positive experience.
Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
Monitor employee satisfaction/feedback (surveys, informal check?ins) and suggest improvement areas.
Work with managers and leadership to roll out initiatives aimed at increasing retention, morale and organisational culture.
Candidate Profile / Required Skills & Attributes
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
2 years' experience
in HR operations, ideally encompassing documentation, compliance and engagement.
Good understanding of Indian labour laws, statutory HR compliance & HR documentation best practices.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail (especially when handling contracts, records, audits).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
Proactive, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience with HR software/HRIS systems (preferred).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with integrity.
