Job Description

The human resources (HR) department is a crucial part of any organization, responsible for managing its most valuable asset: its people. HR professionals play a multifaceted role in an organization, overseeing functions from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and strategic planning. HR departments are responsible for finding, hiring, training, and supporting employees. Key responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing:

Developing recruitment strategies, creating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, performing background checks, and managing the overall hiring process.

Onboarding and Training:

Designing and implementing onboarding programs for new hires, conducting orientation sessions, identifying training needs, and organizing professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Employee Relations:

Fostering a positive work environment, mediating workplace conflicts, handling grievances, and developing employee engagement initiatives.

Performance Management:

Setting performance standards, providing feedback and coaching, conducting performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing performance improvement plans.

Compensation and Benefits:

Designing competitive compensation packages, managing employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans), conducting salary benchmarking, and administering payroll and related processes.

Compliance and Legal Issues:

Ensuring the organization complies with labor laws, regulations (like OSHA and FMLA in the US), and industry standards, maintaining accurate employee records, and handling legal issues related to employment.

Policy Development and Implementation:

Creating, updating, and enforcing company policies and procedures related to HR practices, like codes of conduct, leave policies, and remote work protocols.

Workplace Safety:

Overseeing and conducting safety training, managing workplace injury logs and reporting, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Strategic HR Planning:

Collaborating with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the organization's overall goals, developing long-term talent management strategies, and contributing to business planning.

HR Analytics:

Utilizing data to make informed decisions about workforce planning, talent management, and other HR initiatives, including tracking key HR metrics like turnover and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred for senior roles). Proven experience in HR roles (level of experience will vary based on the position: Assistant, Generalist, Manager, Director, etc.). Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in HR software (HRIS, ATS) and payroll systems. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
