Brief about Aseema:

Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools in Bandra, Mumbai.

In Igatpuri, Aseema works with very poor tribal children who live in the remote tribal village to provide them with quality education. Today we reach out to more than 4000 students and besides the finest quality of education, we provide them with nutritious meals and also attend to their physical and mental well-being. Co-curricular activities like sports, art, music, dance, judo and yoga are carried out in all our schools so that the children receive a well-rounded and holistic education.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To handle end to end recruitment process to ensure vacancies for all centres are filled on priority.

2. To identify potential sources of resource through job portals, contacts, institutions etc.

3. To establish, maintain contact with institutions for campus placements.

4. To maintain recruitment database and update the vacancy tracker on a weekly basis.

5. To conduct the background verification, prepare appointment letters and ensure filing / documentation is complete.

6. To assist in staff orientation and trainings.

7. To visit schools to attend to staff issues / grievances.

8. To maintain record of leave and attendance and provide inputs for payroll processing.

9. To coordinate with the school team for the placement of volunteers / interns.

Desired Candidate's profile:

. Graduate / Post Graduate in HR or relevant field

. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

. Proficiency in Excel and HRMS software preferred,

. Good communication skills - both written and verbal.

. Mature, proactive and ability to work independently.

. Critical thinking and planning skills.

. Immediate joiner, residing in Mumbai is preferred.
