The HR Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This includes recruitment, attendance management, payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements. The role requires strong people-handling skills and a proactive approach to supporting store operations through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Handle end-to-end recruitment for store-level and back-office positions.
Coordinate interviews, shortlist candidates, and manage joining formalities.
Profile Creation and Documentation
Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.
2. Attendance & Payroll
Maintain attendance records and leave management.
Verify attendance reports and assist in payroll processing.
3. Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Promote a positive and disciplined workplace culture.
Conduct regular store visits and employee engagement activities.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain employee records (offer letters, ID proofs, ESIC/PF details, etc.).
Ensure compliance with labour laws, Shops & Establishment Act, ESIC, and PF.
Support audits and statutory inspections as needed.
5. Training & Performance
Assist in organizing training sessions for sales and store staff.
Track employee performance and coordinate appraisals with management.
6. Exit Formalities
Manage employee resignations, full & final settlements, and exit interviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in HR / BBA / MBA (HR preferred).
0 to 2 years of HR experience, preferably in
retail or FMCG industry
.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and HR software tools.
