Role Overview:
The
HR Executive
will play a crucial supporting role within the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all HR functions. This includes
leading recruitment efforts, payroll processing, and employee onboarding
, as well as supporting training, compliance, and engagement programs. In the
absence of the HR Manager
, the Executive will act as the point person for all HR responsibilities, maintaining accuracy, empathy, and efficiency across the board.
Execute end-to-end recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks.
Maintain a strong talent pipeline, particularly for operations, housekeeping, and F&B roles.
Liaise with department heads to ensure hiring needs are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Support employer branding efforts to attract value-aligned candidates.
2. Payroll & Attendance (Priority)
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time using HR software and Excel.
Maintain records for attendance, leave, overtime, and deductions.
Collaborate with Finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure legal compliance in salary disbursements.
Update payroll data based on promotions, exits, or attendance anomalies.
3. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
Coordinate smooth onboarding and documentation for all new hires.
Conduct orientation and initial training sessions.
Support exit formalities and feedback collection for continuous improvement.
4. Training & Development
Assist the HR Manager in scheduling internal training sessions.
Track employee development programs and maintain training records.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning in line with Centro's values.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Act as a support resource for employees in resolving grievances.
Help coordinate employee events, feedback surveys, and recognition initiatives.
Ensure empathetic handling of employee concerns and uphold a culture of respect.
6. Compliance & Record Management
Maintain updated employee files and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (ESIC, PF, Gratuity, etc.).
Help prepare HR reports and compliance audits as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of HR experience
, preferably in hospitality or service sectors.
Proven experience in
recruitment and payroll processing
.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRMS/Payroll Software (Zoho, GreytHR, or similar).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment.
High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
