To manage and support all human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, and day-to-day HR operations in alignment with hospital goals and healthcare industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Source, screen, and schedule interviews for medical, paramedical, and non-medical staff.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employee files.
Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.
2. HR Operations
Maintain and update employee records (physical & digital).
Manage attendance, leave records, and HRMS entries.
Assist in payroll coordination by providing attendance and leave reports.
Issue warning letters, memos, and other disciplinary documents as required.
3. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Organize employee engagement initiatives and health camps.
Handle employee grievances and escalate as needed.
Coordinate employee feedback surveys and exit interviews.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with labor laws, hospital accreditation (e.g., NABH) requirements, and statutory obligations like PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.
Maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure employee adherence.
Coordinate with auditors or inspectors during HR audits.
5. Performance & Training
Support performance appraisal process coordination.
Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
Maintain training calendars and employee skill development logs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR / Business Administration.
Minimum 1-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
Skills Required:
Good knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and hospital HR processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Working Conditions:
6-day work week
Flexible to handle emergencies or urgent recruitment needs
Based on-site at the hospital premises
