to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate will handle core HR processes including employee documentation, HRIS management, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and HR reporting. This is a critical role that ensures seamless HR functioning and an excellent employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with end-to-end onboarding and offboarding formalities, including documentation and system access.
Manage HR documentation such as Offer Letters, Appointment Letter, ID cards, etc.
Support monthly payroll input processes and coordinate with Finance for payouts.
Track attendance, leave, and time-off data; generate reports as required.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and assist with audits and compliance checks.
Handle employee queries on HR policies, payroll, and other operations-related matters.
Assist in employee engagement activities and internal communications.
Maintain trackers for benefits, insurance, statutory compliance, and performance cycles.
Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with HRIS tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced or mid-sized organization.
Exposure to payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
Working knowledge of HR software Keka will be added advantage.
