We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee our Core HR Operations at our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR compliance, POSH , attendance management, Provident Fund (PF), policy drafting, and a hands-on understanding of labor laws. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily HR activities, compliance, and policy adherence in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies. Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations and incorporate them into existing systems and processes.
POSH Implementation & Compliance:
Administer POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) initiatives, ensuring adherence to the law and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Attendance & Leave Management:
Oversee attendance systems, ensure accurate tracking, and resolve any discrepancies. Manage employee leave policies and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Provident Fund (PF) Management:
Administer PF processes, including monthly remittances, compliance, and record-keeping.
Policy Drafting & Updating:
Draft and update HR policies in line with company objectives, labor laws, and best practices. Ensure timely communication of policy changes to employees.
Employee Records & Documentation:
Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, appraisals, and statutory documentation.
Employee Relations:
Address employee queries, grievances, and concerns promptly and effectively. Foster a positive work environment and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary.
HR Reporting:
Prepare HR-related reports and provide data-driven insights to senior management for decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Core HR Operations (compliance, POSH, attendance, PF, policy drafting, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Additional HR certifications are a plus.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance in India (PF, ESI, etc.). In-depth understanding of POSH regulations.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in HR software/tools and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex legal and policy matters in a clear and concise manner.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex HR challenges effectively.
Desirable Attributes:
Proactive and self-motivated with a hands-on approach to managing HR operations.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location:
The position is based at Kemps Corner, Mumbai, and is a 5-day work week role.
