Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for staff and workers.
Maintain and update attendance, leave, and payroll records accurately.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations (ESI, PF, Factory Act, etc.).
Handle employee grievance, disciplinary actions, and counselling.
Prepare and maintain HR documentation -- appointment letters, confirmations, and exit formalities.
Support training and development activities for skill enhancement.
Coordinate with departments for manpower planning and workforce allocation.
Assist in performance appraisal and maintain personnel files.
Manage contract labour documentation and ensure vendor compliance.
Promote a positive and safe work culture on the shop floor.
Requirements
Required Skill Sets
Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Experience in factory HR / plant HR / manufacturing setup.
Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS, and Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Tamil and Hindi preferred for worker-level communication.
Qualification: MBA / MSW / PG Diploma in HR / IR / Labour Welfare.
Experience: 2-5 years in manufacturing or industrial HR.
