Role Objective
We are looking for a dynamic HR Executive to manage our human resources functions and support our growing tech team. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from sourcing specialized IT talent to driving engagement and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of the IT sector--including technical skill sets, competitive hiring landscapes, and agile work cultures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition (IT Recruitment)
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, QA, DevOps, Product Managers).
Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche job boards.
Conduct initial HR screenings to assess cultural fit and communication skills.
Coordinate with Technical Lead/Hiring Managers to streamline the interview pipeline.
2. Onboarding & Employee Experience
Design and execute an engaging onboarding program for new hires (remote and in-office).
Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace culture.
Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover data.
3. Performance & Engagement
Assist in the implementation of performance management cycles (OKRs or KPIs).
Organize virtual and in-person team-building activities to foster a strong "dev-culture."
Monitor employee morale and proactively suggest initiatives to improve retention.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (e.g. Zoho People).
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements.
Assist in payroll processing by tracking attendance, leaves, and variable pay.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, with at least 1 year specifically within the IT/Tech industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA in HR preferred).
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HRIS, and collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, or Microsoft Teams.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (essential for candidate experience and internal documentation).
Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with "Tech Speak" (knowing the difference between Java and JavaScript is a plus!).
Experience in managing remote/distributed teams.
A proactive, "problem-solver" mindset.
