HR professional
to manage our human resource operations efficiently--especially someone experienced in
Zoho HR systems
and well-versed in restaurant workforce management.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
HR Executive or HR Manager
to handle all HR-related responsibilities for our restaurant operations. This includes recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and maintaining HR systems (primarily
Zoho People
). The ideal candidate will have experience working in the
hospitality or restaurant industry
, and be capable of managing a fast-paced, shift-based workforce.
Key Responsibilities:HR & Zoho System Management
Administer and manage
Zoho People
for employee records, attendance, leaves, and workflows.
Customize HR workflows to suit restaurant operations such as shift rotation, late entries, and overtime.
Generate regular HR reports and assist management with data analysis through
Zoho Analytics
.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Handle end-to-end recruitment for kitchen, service, and admin staff.
Conduct interviews and coordinate joining formalities.
Manage onboarding processes and documentation through Zoho.
Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
Oversee staff attendance and leave tracking using Zoho HR.
Coordinate with finance for payroll processing.
Ensure labor law compliance (including working hours, minimum wage, etc.).
Employee Engagement & Development
Conduct staff orientation, basic training, and team meetings.
Help identify internal training needs and schedule skill-based programs.
Manage employee grievances and maintain healthy work culture.
Performance & HR Documentation
Monitor employee performance through Zoho HR tools.
Maintain updated employee records, warning letters, offer letters, and exit formalities.
Support appraisals and internal promotions based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the
restaurant or food service sector
.
Hands-on experience with
Zoho People
and other Zoho HR applications.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR policies applicable to Tamil Nadu/Food Industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in
Tamil and English
.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing multi-outlet or franchise-based restaurant HR.
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and shift planning tools.
HR certification or specialized training is an added advantage.

May require occasional visits to branches/outlets.
