truck driver hiring, onboarding, attendance, and overall engagement activities

. The ideal candidate will ensure timely recruitment, proper documentation, daily attendance tracking, issue resolution, and long-term engagement of drivers for seamless logistics and transport operations, especially for our

Ghar Project

or related logistics verticals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Driver Hiring & Onboarding:



Source and recruit truck drivers as per operational requirements. Conduct initial screening, background verification, and document checks. Coordinate onboarding process - documentation, ID issuance, uniform, and basic orientation. Maintain a database of active and standby drivers.

2. Attendance & Roster Management:



Maintain daily attendance records of all drivers using registers or digital tools. Share daily/weekly attendance and absentee reports with the Operations team. Monitor duty rosters and shift planning to ensure operational continuity.

3. Issue Handling:



Act as the first point of contact for driver-related issues (attendance, payroll, behavior, etc.). Escalate unresolved issues to HR or senior operations management. Resolve grievances related to duty allocation, leaves, or payroll discrepancies.

4. Driver Engagement:



Build rapport with drivers to maintain a motivated and disciplined workforce. Plan regular engagement activities - briefings, safety sessions, and appreciation drives. Ensure drivers follow company policies and safety regulations.

5. Compliance & Reporting:



Ensure drivers hold valid licenses and documents at all times. Maintain compliance with labor laws, transport norms, and safety protocols. Submit periodic reports to management on hiring status, absenteeism, and driver performance.

Key Requirements:



Minimum 2-4 years of experience in logistics/transport supervision, especially in driver management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage field operations and handle on-ground issues effectively. Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, Email communication). Knowledge of local languages and regional transport norms preferred.
