The HR Executive will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, from understanding hiring needs to coordinating interviews and ensuring timely closures. This role requires proactive sourcing, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering
Coordinate with department heads to understand and gather hiring needs.
Maintain an updated list of open positions with job descriptions.
2. Job Posting
Draft and post job advertisements on job portals, social media, and institutional websites.
Maintain consistency and branding across all job advertisements.
3. Sourcing and Screening
Use job portals (e.g., Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn) to source suitable candidates.
Screen resumes based on qualification, experience, and job fit.
Make initial calls to assess candidate interest, communication, and availability.
4. Interview Coordination
Schedule interviews based on panel and candidate availability.
Send interview invites and reminders to candidates and interviewers.
Coordinate virtual or in-person interview logistics.
5. Candidate Shortlisting and Filtering
Collaborate with internal teams for profile evaluation and feedback.
Maintain proper documentation of shortlisted and rejected candidates.
6. Panel and Interview Arrangements
Ensure panel members are informed and available.
Prepare interview rooms, documents, and technical setup as required.
7. Interview Evaluation and Follow-up
Collect and document interview evaluation forms from panel members.
Maintain and update candidate feedback records promptly.
8. Selection and Offer
Confirm final selection with the concerned department and management.
Prepare offer letters and coordinate with candidates for joining formalities.
9. Post-Selection Coordination
Ensure timely onboarding and documentation.
Maintain HR records and recruitment MIS.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and job portal tools
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Understanding of HR processes and employment regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / Management / related field
MBA in HR (preferred)
3-5 years of relevant experience in recruitment or HR operations
Work Environment:
Regular office hours, with flexibility for extended hours during peak recruitment seasons
Team-oriented and fast-paced institutional setting
