Job Description

An HR manager oversees all human resources functions, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding; training and development; and performance management. They also ensure compliance with labor laws, manage employee relations and compensation, and develop HR strategies aligned with business goals. Key duties include acting as a link between management and employees and creating a positive work environment.

Core responsibilities

Recruitment and onboarding:

Develop job descriptions, advertise vacancies, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring and onboarding process.

Training and development:

Plan and implement training programs, and manage employee performance and development initiatives.

Employee relations and engagement:

Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, conduct exit interviews, and develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.

Compensation and benefits:

Oversee payroll coordination and manage employee benefits programs.

Legal compliance:

Ensure the organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and maintain HR records.

Strategic planning:

Consult with senior management on HR strategy, and develop and implement policies and procedures that align with business objectives.

Conducting new employee orientations Managing and analyzing employee data Reporting on HR metrics and costs Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives Handling disciplinary and termination procedures
