Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and schedule final interviews.
Maintain a database of potential candidates and campus hiring channels.
2. Onboarding & Induction
Facilitate joining formalities for new hires.
Conduct orientation programs for new staff members.
Coordinate document collection and employee file management.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor staff attendance through biometric or manual systems.
Manage leave records, generate reports, and ensure policy compliance.
Assist in managing academic calendars and holiday schedules.
4. Payroll & Compliance
Liaise with the accounts department for salary inputs and updates.
Ensure accurate processing of payroll inputs related to leaves, increments, or deductions.
Support statutory compliance - PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and other labor laws applicable to the education sector.
5. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
Conduct periodic employee feedback surveys.
Promote a positive and professional work environment.
6. Performance Management
Assist in setting up appraisal systems for academic and non-academic staff.
Coordinate evaluation processes and feedback sessions.
7. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant development programs.
Organize in-service training, workshops, and teacher development programs.
8. Documentation & Policy Management
Maintain updated HR policies, handbooks, and employee records.
Draft letters, memos, notices, and other official communications.
Have worked in a Human Resources role specifically within the school/education domain
