Job Description

Job Title: HR Executive (Generalist)Role Overview

The HR Executive (Generalist) is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance, and performance support. The role ensures smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience while aligning HR practices with organizational policies and values.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding



Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes (job postings, screening, interviews, offer letters). Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs. Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records.

HR Operations & Administration



Maintain employee records, files, and HR databases. Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, ID cards, and other HR documents. Handle attendance, leave management, and HR MIS reports.

Payroll & Benefits Support



Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing. Verify attendance, leave, and salary inputs. Support statutory benefits such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and insurance (as applicable).

Employee Relations



Act as a point of contact for employee HR queries. Support grievance handling and employee engagement activities. Promote a healthy and positive workplace culture.

Performance & Compliance



Assist in performance appraisal processes. Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and internal guidelines. Support audits and inspections related to HR records.

Training & Development



Coordinate training programs and workshops. Maintain training records and feedback.

Policy & Process Support



Assist in drafting, implementing, and communicating HR policies. Support HR initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field MBA / MSW / PG Diploma in HR (preferred)
Experience

1-3years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Executive role
