We are hiring an HR professional to support day-to-day people operations for a growing SaaS team. This role will focus on recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee support, and maintaining HR processes and documentation. The position is remote for now, with
occasional requirement to commute to Chandigarh for in-person coordination, team meetings, or operational needs.
Key responsibilities
Own end-to-end hiring coordination: job postings, screening calls, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer process support.
Support onboarding and offboarding: documentation, checklists, policy communication, and coordination across teams.
Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Maintain HR records, trackers, and basic reporting (hiring pipeline, onboarding status, attendance/leave records if applicable).
Support performance and feedback cycles (reminders, documentation, coordination).
Help build and improve HR processes appropriate for a lean, fast-moving remote team.
Coordinate occasional in-person requirements in Chandigarh (as needed).
Requirements (must-have)
Strong people skills: empathetic, professional, confident communicator.
Fluent spoken English (must be comfortable in calls with candidates and team members).
Prior experience in HR operations, recruiting coordination, or HR generalist responsibilities (startup experience is a plus).
Highly organized with strong follow-through; able to manage multiple open roles and priorities.
Comfortable working remotely and independently with clear accountability.
Must be able to commute to Chandigarh on some occasions (local travel).
Nice-to-have
Experience hiring for tech/product roles (engineering, design, marketing).
Familiarity with HR tools (Google Workspace), and basic employment documentation best practices.
Experience working with distributed teams.
