Position Overview
The HR Executive (Generalist) will be responsible for handling the day-to-day HR operations, supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle management, and ensuring the smooth implementation of company policies. This role requires a proactive, organized, and people-oriented professional who can balance administrative efficiency with employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in the full recruitment cycle -- job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters.
Coordinate onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Support initiatives to maintain high employee morale and engagement.
Organize employee welfare activities, celebrations, and communication programs.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
Assist with HR audits and documentation for compliance reporting.
4. Performance Management
Support the performance appraisal process.
Coordinate goal-setting, evaluation, and feedback sessions.
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
6. Policy Implementation
Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to.
Recommend improvements to HR processes for greater efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree or MBA in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
Experience:
1-4 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment).
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficient in MS Office and HR software tools (HRIS/ERP).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
