- Hospital HR (Human Resources Manager/Executive)

Job Summary:
The Hospital HR professional is responsible for managing and executing all human resource functions within the healthcare facility, including recruitment, employee relations, training & development, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance with labor laws, and creating a positive workplace culture. The role ensures that the hospital workforce is well-supported, motivated, and aligned with the hospital's mission of patient care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Identify staffing needs across clinical, paramedical, and non-clinical departments.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies (job postings, campus hiring, agency coordination).
Conduct interviews, background checks, and onboarding of new employees.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Address employee grievances and concerns in a fair and timely manner.
Implement employee engagement activities to boost morale and reduce attrition.
Foster a culture of teamwork, compassion, and service.
3. Training & Development
Assess training needs and design healthcare-specific training programs.
Conduct orientation for new employees on hospital policies, ethics, and patient care standards.
Support continuous professional development (CPD) for medical and non-medical staff.
4. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements (NABH/JCI).
Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave management systems.
Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
5. Performance Management
Implement appraisal systems for staff evaluation.
Work with HODs to set performance indicators and growth plans.
Manage promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions when required.
6. Payroll & Benefits Administration
Coordinate with the finance department for salary processing, deductions, and benefits.
Manage statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, professional tax).
Design incentive and reward programs for high performers.
7. Safety & Well-being
Ensure employee health, safety, and welfare measures are in place.
Support stress management and wellness initiatives for healthcare workers.
Handle workplace safety training (fire, infection control, occupational hazards).

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's/Master's in Human Resource Management (MBA/PGDM preferred).
Prior HR experience in a hospital/healthcare industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and healthcare accreditation standards.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Proficiency in HRMS/Payroll software.

Work Environment:
Based in hospital premises.
Requires interaction with doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff.
May require extended working hours during emergencies or staff shortages.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
