The HR Executive is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, training & development, statutory compliance, and HR operations. This role ensures smooth HR processes and supports management in building a strong, productive workforce.
Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Maintain candidate pipelines and reduce hiring turnaround time.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
Conduct new hire orientation and ensure smooth joining formalities.
Create and maintain employee files and HR documentation.
Issue appointment letters, ID cards, and onboarding kits.
Coordinate with the accounts/finance team for monthly payroll inputs.
Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, and reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, LWF, Gratuity).
Maintain statutory records and support external audits.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations.
Resolve employee grievances and maintain a positive work culture.
Conduct stay interviews and improve employee retention.
6. Performance Management
Assist in setting KRAs/KPIs and conducting yearly/half-yearly appraisals.
Track employee performance and coordinate with managers for reviews.
Support implementation of performance improvement plans.
7. Training & Development
Identify training needs and prepare yearly training calendars.
Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
Track and evaluate training effectiveness.
8. HR Policy Implementation
Draft, review, and update HR policies & SOPs.
Ensure adherence to company rules and disciplinary procedures.
Promote and implement HR best practices.
Skills & RequirementsTechnical Skills
Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, compliance, and labor laws.
Hands-on experience with HRMS/Payroll software.
Strong documentation and MIS reporting skills.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
Leadership and team-handling exposure is an advantage.
Education
MBA in HR / Master's in Human Resources / PGDM in HR or related field.
