Assist in hiring workers, staff, and contract labor as per plant manpower requirements
Maintain daily attendance and leave records through biometric or manual systems
Prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll processing
Assist in contractor labor wage sheet preparation and verification
Maintain compliance registers and documentation (ESI, PF, Gratuity, etc.)
Ensure contractor compliance with labor laws and safety norms
Support HR audits and government inspections
Organize employee welfare programs, safety awareness drives, and health check-ups
Collect feedback and handle basic grievances of workers
Maintain harmonious workplace environment on the shop floor
Manage employee personal files and documentation
Handle employee movements - transfers, exits, confirmations, etc.
Prepare and submit HR MIS reports and dashboards to plant and corporate HR
Coordinate walk-ins, interviews, and documentation
Execute onboarding formalities including induction, ID cards, and joining kits
