Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Data Analyst with 7-10 years of experience to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally strong in Excel, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and capable of turning data into insights that drive strategic HR decisions. This role will support reporting, analytics, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and automate HR dashboards and reports using advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Power Pivot, macros/VBA, complex formulas, etc.).
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle (talent acquisition, retention, performance, engagement, compensation).
  • Support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organizational modeling.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HR analytics reports with benchmarking and variance analysis.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Finance teams to deliver accurate and timely data insights.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing data quality controls.
  • Translate complex data into clear visualizations and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Assist with HR technology enhancements and data governance projects.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive employee data with the highest level of discretion and compliance.
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in HR analytics, HR reporting, or a similar data-focused HR role.
  • Expert-level Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, macros/VBA preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, metrics, and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).
