The HR Cum Placement Officer is responsible for managing human resource functions along with coordinating student training and placement activities. The role involves recruiting and managing staff, developing industry relationships, organizing campus placements, and ensuring students are career-ready.
Support management in organizational development initiatives.
Plan, organize, and execute campus recruitment drives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, industries, and recruiters.
Coordinate student internships, industrial training, and live projects.
Maintain placement records, MIS reports, and placement statistics.
Organize career guidance sessions, mock interviews, resume workshops, and soft skills training.
Prepare students to meet industry requirements and employability standards.
Coordinate with academic departments for student eligibility and placement readiness.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and placement processes.
Ability to build corporate relationships and partnerships.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR/Placement management systems.
Leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in HR, training & placement, or academic institutions (preferred).
