who will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee engagement to compliance, payroll, and organizational development. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership, and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Identify manpower requirements in coordination with department heads (Design, Production, Sales, Marketing, etc.).
Source, screen, and onboard suitable candidates, including designers, merchandisers, sales staff, and interns.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for seasonal and project-based hiring.
Employee Engagement & Development
Design and implement employee engagement activities to maintain a positive work culture.
Conduct regular feedback sessions, team-building initiatives, and performance reviews.
Coordinate workshops, skill-development programs, and orientation sessions.
Encourage upskilling in fashion trends, client handling, and retail management.
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Handle employee grievances with professionalism and ensure smooth conflict resolution.
Foster open communication and promote a healthy work environment.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure attendance management, leave policy adherence, and enforcement of the code of conduct.
Draft and implement HR policies in line with labor laws and company standards.
Oversee payroll processing, salary disbursement, and statutory deductions.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and all HR documentation.
Manage attendance, shift schedules, and workplace discipline.
Organizational Growth & Strategy
Support management in scaling operations by creating effective HR frameworks.
Develop strategies to enhance productivity, employee satisfaction, and retention.
Align HR functions with overall organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in HR management (experience in fashion, design, or retail sector preferred).
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR policies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools.
