Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Procedure Development: Create,

implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and an employee handbook to ensure alignment with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

Legal Monitoring: Stay

informed about changes in federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations that affect the workplace, such as those related to wages, benefits, and anti-discrimination.

Audits & Assessments:

Conduct internal audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to ensure ongoing adherence to regulations.

Training & Education:

Develop and deliver training programs for both employees and management to educate them on HR compliance issues and expected behaviors.

Record Maintenance:

Ensure accurate and secure maintenance of employee records, including personal information, job details, and payroll, to meet legal and regulatory standards.

Complaint Investigation:

Handle and investigate complaints related to HR compliance, ensuring violations are addressed appropriately and fairly.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Liaison & Guidance:

Act as a point of contact between the company and external regulatory agencies and provide ongoing guidance and support to management and employees on compliance matters.

Workplace Safety:

Help ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety laws, providing a safe and secure working environment for all.
