Job
The HR Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies. The role involves handling statutory filings, audits, employee documentation, and coordinating with government authorities and consultants.
Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory & Legal Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws such as:
PF, ESI, PT
Shops & Establishment Act
Factories Act (if applicable)
Contract Labour Act
Minimum Wages Act
Payment of Wages Act
Bonus, Gratuity & Leave Acts
Timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Coordinate with statutory consultants and government departments.
Handle inspections, notices, and audits by labor authorities.
Payroll & Documentation Support
Support payroll compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS (coordination).
Maintain employee records, registers, and statutory forms.
Ensure compliance in wage structure and CTC as per law.
Policy & Process Compliance
Implement and monitor HR policies and SOPs.
Update HR compliance processes as per amendments in labor laws.
Conduct internal compliance audits and gap analysis.
Employee & Vendor Coordination
Address employee queries related to statutory benefits.
Coordinate compliance for contract labor, vendors, and manpower agencies.
Ensure vendor compliance documentation is complete and valid.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare compliance reports and dashboards.
Maintain records for audits and management review.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle audits and inspections confidently
Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Law, or related field
MBA / PGDM in HR or Diploma in Labour Laws (preferred)
Experience
2-6 years of experience in HR Compliance / Statutory Compliance
Experience in manufacturing / construction / corporate environment preferred

Strong follow-up and documentation skills
Updated knowledge of labor law amendments
