We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
HR Compliance & Executive
to join our team in the
garment manufacturing sector
. The ideal candidate will have
comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, statutory compliance
, and the
specific operational requirements
of the
apparel industry
. This role ensures that the organization adheres to legal standards, promotes a positive work environment, and maintains ethical labor practices as per industry norms.
Key Responsibilities
:
1. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all
labor laws
,
Factories Act
,
ESI
,
PF
,
Gratuity
,
Bonus
,
Minimum Wages
, etc.
Timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of registers & records as per law.
Liaise with government authorities like Labour Department, ESI/PF offices, etc.
Handle factory inspections and audits (internal & external) with confidence and accuracy.
2. HR Operations
Manage end-to-end
employee lifecycle
- onboarding, documentation, attendance, payroll inputs, and exit formalities.
Ensure proper maintenance of
personnel files
, contracts, ID cards, etc.
Support the payroll process with accurate data related to attendance, overtime, leave management, etc.
Maintain HRMS (if applicable) and generate required reports.
3. Compliance Audits
Prepare for and coordinate
compliance audits
like
BSCI
,
SEDEX
,
WRAP
,
SA8000
,
Buyer Code of Conduct
, etc.
Ensure the factory and HR policies are aligned with
customer social compliance standards
.
Monitor and track corrective actions post-audit and ensure timely closure.
4. Policy Implementation & Training
Implement company HR policies and communicate them effectively to employees.
Conduct periodic training on
POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment)
,
code of conduct
,
workplace safety
, etc.
Conduct awareness sessions for employees on HR policies, grievance redressal mechanisms, and compliance obligations.
5. Employee Engagement & Discipline
Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and coordinate with management on critical HR issues.
Foster a healthy, compliant, and safe work culture in the factory floor.
Assist in organizing employee welfare activities, worker committees, and grievance redressal forums.
Key Requirements
:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / MBA-HR / MSW (Master of Social Work) or equivalent.
Experience
: Minimum 1-2 years in
HR Compliance/HR Executive
role in
garment or textile manufacturing industry
.
Deep understanding of
Indian labor laws
,
HR operations in manufacturing setup
, and
social compliance frameworks
.
Proven track record of handling
labor audits
and
statutory compliance
independently.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office, HRMS tools, and record-keeping systems.
Knowledge of
local language
(if required) will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
